Experience one of the most famous Zeeland traditions during the ring riding in Wemeldinge. Riders gallop through the course without saddles, attempting to spear as many rings as possible with a lance. A special moment of the day is the traditional 'kamp om de pollepel', where participants compete for this beloved prize.
Ring riding attracts young and old and showcases a piece of Zeeland folklore that is still very much alive. At the end of the day, the traditional chair riding follows. This special game of musical chairs on horseback provides a cosy and atmospheric conclusion to the competition.
