Mary Magdalene is the patron saint of Goes. Traces of this can be found in many places in the city centre. Discover them with the brochure Mary Magdalene in the city Goes. You can visit exhibitions and concerts, admire churches, and there are all sorts of activities such as climbing the medieval Town Hall Tower and a book market. The programme runs from Easter until autumn. Central to this is Mary Magdalene's Day on July 22nd. The two Mary Magdalene churches and Magdalenastraat are the locations for most activities. Almost everything is free to visit (or with a voluntary contribution) and fun for the whole family.
