The municipality of Kapelle is literally and figuratively the Blossom of Zeeland. A beautiful area that originated on a pattern of creek beds and has been shaped by water, agriculture, and fruit cultivation for generations. A place of historical significance in the heart of the Schelde Delta Geopark. In the spring, the fruit blossom scents and colours the surroundings, and in late summer, the blushing apples signal that it's almost time to taste them. Here, you can smell the sweet perfume of fruit cultivation and the salty tang of the Oosterschelde.<\/p>\n

The villages each have their own character, no two villages are the same. Traces of their rich past are still visible or you'll only see them if you look very closely. Between these villages, you'll find a green mosaic that invites you to explore on foot or by bicycle. Along ancient, characteristic landscapes, fields, orchards and traces of early inhabitants. The dikes and little beaches along the Oosterschelde invite you to take a dip, go for a stroll or settle down by the water's edge. Here you can take your time to enjoy the wide views, the tides, the smell of the salty air and the wind in your hair. A blossom surrounded by the dikes of the Oosterschelde and Westerschelde.
