What is normally hidden beneath the surface is suddenly laid bare and visible here. Then walk up the dike for a sweeping view of the Oosterschelde. Ships sail slowly across the water and the horizon seems endless. Afterwards, you descend towards the tidal basins, where life plays out on a small scale. To the left and right, the water glimmers and you can see how each basin has its own small ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>The tide pools in Wemeldinge invite you to look, discover and wonder. There's a good chance you'll linger, even when the tide turns back.
